Front of my spread for her travelling journal:

The front and back are deliberately wordless: i liked the contrast of such quiet with the wild and words inside. I’d also like to have the front and back printed as cards!
Herein lies the story of the creation of seven unique traveling art dolls and their travel journals. The dolls will leave home in October 2010 and will travel nearly 8000 miles, with stops at the homes of six artists, before returning home again in May. See their step-by-step creation here, with new chapters every 5 weeks. To view an individual doll's progress or a specific artist's work, click on the doll or artist name in the sidebar "Sort By" box.

Very cool, arlee. I love the freeness of it, that it's only one hand and not necessarily "to scale". Good beginning for Anneelaw to become a very unique art doll!
Thanks gail! For one horrible moment there though i thought you had written "but it's only one hand"--whew!!!
Love the words in the journal Arlee. All very creative work. Love it!
I'm so excited about the direction Annielaw is going! Can't wait to see what gets added next.
